Valued Velocify Clients -
As you may know, in the late US hours of Friday night, more than 75,000 ransomware attacks were launched globally that impacted many companies, making it one of the broadest and most damaging cyberattacks in history. Upon learning of these events, Velocify took immediate and definite action to protect you, our clients, and your data.
The Velocify IT and Engineering Teams planned, tested, and deployed critical patches to ensure the environments were fortified with the latest patch that was made available earlier in the day. While our systems were current on all releases, we felt it was important to take this additional precautionary step.
The patches were deployed between Saturday 2:00am to 6:00am PST in an unplanned emergency maintenance release. All steps were taken to ensure the patches would be deployed in a non-disruptive fashion. However, during this time, some services may not have been available and may have caused some timeouts of scheduled jobs.
Given the speed of the scenario, Velocify was unable to proactively communicate this unplanned maintenance activity. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused your operation. Again, we prioritize the security of your data and took this immediate action to execute accordingly. We thank you for trusting us with your business and will strive to earn that trust each and every day.
