This overview will teach you how to trigger a Post off of a Status Change or an Action

How to trigger a post off of a Status Change

 1.  To trigger a post off of a Status Change go to Menu > Administration > Manage Status off to the right of every Status there is a link in blue which is called Posts. Click on that link.

 2. You will be brought to the Post Templates menu for that particular Status. Note: The post will be triggered or Queued to go out the moment the lead changes into that status.

 

 3.  Click on the post template you created on the left, click on Assign, and the post template will then be assigned to that status.

 How to trigger a post off of an action

 1. To trigger it off of an Action go to Menu > Administration > Manage Actions off to the right of every Action there is a link in blue which is called Posts. Click on that link.

 2. You will be brought to the Post Templates menu for that particular Action . Note: The post will be triggered/Queued to go out the moment this action is taken on a lead record.

 

 2.  Click on the post template you created on the left, click on Assign, and the post template will then be assigned to that action.

Once you have finished this process log out and log back into Velocify for all of your changes to be submitted.

 How to make a Delayed Post

If you will need to control the Timing & Rules for your posts, please see the instructions below.

 1. Go to Menu > Administration > Manage Posts

 2. Find the post template you created and go off to the right and click on Settings.

 2. You will come upon this screen below. You do have the ability to control whether the Post sends immediately, has a delay, or sends after a certain system field with a date in it. This is configured in the first box When to send a post

 

4. After you have configured this you want to click on Submit in the lower right hand corner.
