Velocify LeadManager 16.5 Release Notes

What’s New in the Velocify 16.5 Release?

The following features are now available in the 16.5 release:

  1. Consolidated user-level notification settings
  2. Encompass Connector lead creation based on an Encompass loan file

The user-level notification settings are available for both Standard and Advanced Edition clients. The Encompass Connector lead creation requires an existing integration between Encompass by EllieMae® and Velocify using Velocify’s Encompass Connector.

User-Level Notification Settings

What are the new notification settings?

Settings for notifications – such as email opened notifications and lead assignment notifications – are located in a new section of the My Settings page. The new section now contains “do not disturb” settings, allowing users to decide what time of day (Pacific Time) they will receive notifications. This lets users have better control over their notification settings.

NOTE – Administrators still have the ability to disable different types of notifications.  When a notification is disabled by the administrator, the My Settings page shows the setting as “Not Allowed.”

How can I access the new notification settings?

The new notification settings can be found at Menu – Preferences – My Settings.

What are each of the notification settings that I can configure?

New Lead Assigned:

This setting dictates whether the user will receive New Lead Assigned popup or text message notifications. New Lead Assigned popup notifications appear in the center of the user’s Velocify screen and provide them the option to either ignore, view, or dial the new lead.

New Lead Assigned text message notifications are sent to the user’s mobile phone number as entered in the Mobile Phone field. The text message displays the text “VELOCIFY NEW LEAD:” followed by the Lead Identifier, which is found on the Client Settings page in the Lead & Campaign Settings section.

Email Opened:

This setting dictates whether the user will receive Email Opened popup or text message notifications. Email Opened popup notifications appear in a new window on the user’s browser. For more information about configuring Email Opened popup notifications, visit http://lmhelp.velocify.com/hc/en-us/articles/203064470.

Email Opened text message notifications are sent to the user’s mobile phone number as entered in the Mobile Phone field. The text message displays the text “Email opened by” followed by the Lead Identifier, which is found on the Client Settings page in the Lead & Campaign Settings section.

Text Message Operating Hours:

This new setting allows users to decide what time of day (Pacific Time) they will receive New Lead Assigned and Email Opened text message notifications. This restricts text messages from being received after hours or while the user is unavailable. To configure these settings, enter the start and end time for each day that the user should receive text message notifications.

NOTE – The time zone for the text message operating hours must be entered in Pacific Time (US & Canada, UTC-8:00). Velocify will not automatically convert the time zone to the user’s local time.

Encompass Connector Lead Creation

What are the new features in the Encompass Connector?

For Velocify clients using the Encompass Connector, Velocify can now create a new lead based on an existing loan file in the user’s Encompass account.

How can I enable this new feature?

To enable this new feature, contact Velocify Support at support@velocify.com, or call (844) 327-3296.

Once enabled, will I suddenly be flooded with old Encompass loan files?

As part of the 15-minute sync from Encompass to Velocify, the system only recognizes Encompass loans that have been modified within the last 15 minutes. If a loan has been modified within that time but is not already associated with a Velocify lead, then a new lead is created for the loan. If a loan was not modified within that time, then a new lead is not created in Velocify.

What loan information is sent from Encompass to Velocify?

The data sent from Encompass to Velocify is based on the field mapping configured for the 15-minute Encompass Connector sync.

The new lead is created in the Velocify status associated with the loan’s milestone and is assigned to the user associated with the Encompass loan officer. The lead is created in the default campaign, as designated in the Velocify Client Settings page.
