LeadManager: How To: Trigger A Post Off Of An Action Or Status Change

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

 

 

How to trigger a post off of a Status Change

 

NOTE: Unless a delay is configured posts will be triggered the moment the lead changes into that status.

 

  1. Create your posts before following the directions below. For instructions on creating posts, please review this article: Manage Posts: Detailed Review
  2. To trigger a post off of a Status Changego to Menu > Administration > Manage Status.
  3. To the right of every Status there is a link in blue which is called  Click on that link. TRIGGER_A_POST1.jpg
  4. You will be brought to the Post Templatesmenu for that particular  Note: The post will be triggered or Queued to go out the moment the lead changes into that status.

  • Click on the post template you created on the left, click on Assign, and the post template will then be assigned to that status.

 

 

 

How to trigger a post off of an action

NOTE: Unless a delay is configured posts will be triggered the moment the associated action is taken on the lead.

  1. To trigger it off of an Action go to Menu > Administration > Manage Actions
  2. To the right of the Action Title look for the options column and click on the posts link. TRIGGER_A_POST2.jpg
  3. You will be brought to the Post Templates menu for that particular Action .

  1. Click on the post template you created on the left, click on Assign, and the post template will then be assigned to that action.

 

 

 

 How to make a Delayed Post

 

To control the Timing & Rules for your posts, follow the instructions below.

 

  1. Go to Menu > Administration > Manage Posts
  2. To the right of the post template you created, look for the options column and click on the Settings link.
  3. In this screen you have the ability to:
    • Send the post immediately when the trigger occurs
    • Send the post after the trigger occurs based on the time set
    • Send the post before or after the selected system field

  1. After you confirming the delay, click Apply or  Submit, located in the lower right hand corner.
